Mythtv DVB-C Problems with Conax Module
mike | Monday, 19. January 2009 23:05After a few weeks I found out that with my Cableprovider only the Technisat CX conax Module is working correct.
with the normal conax Modul the TV Quality is not very good:
after replace my Conax Module with the Technisat CX
The TV works fine and I can continoue to build a MediaCenter ( http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/User:Markab ) see also http://www.hagmann.sg/mythtv

Hey, why not use Windows7 and FloppyDTV instead of that MythTV rubbish ?
Isn’t the Windows7 that are contaminate with Malware (http://www.techspot.com/news/34727-malware-found-in-counterfeit-copies-of-windows-7-rc.html) ? And also this is a very mission critical Solution ( I also switch to Solutions at home ) and I need a fully supported OS here, As fare as I know the Windows 7 is something beta.
FlopyDTV locks cool, but that’s only a Soft decoder and it’s very Expensive with arround 220 CHF. But maybe you could give me a Demo?
